- God will work through the strong desires of the committed Christian’s life.
- “Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4-5
- Consider your present circumstances, is God suggesting a certain course of action. Outward circumstances may help you to discern God’s direction. Pray and seek the LORD’s guidance.
- “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways
acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
- Do you sense the Holy Spirit’s conviction in your heart? Has God spoken to you through His Word or circumstances? Romans 8:14
- Does God’s Word agree with or support your strong desires? For example: Hebrews 13:17 exhorts believers to obey and submit to those in authority over them.
- There is no question that believers are not to date, marry, or enter into business with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
- God delights to work in and through the life of the fully committed Christian. This is by far the most
important requirement of all!
